He sang such hits including Georgia, Slow Dancing, Heartbreak Warfare and my personal favourite, Who Says.
I was so blown away by his natural talent as an incredible guitarist and soulful voice that I even continued to listen to Battle Studies on the way home from the concert! Every song he sang mimicked those on his record and completely captivated the audience, and for two hours, 15,000 people had a giant sing-a-long! It was fantastic.
He brilliantly used his IPad all night to the audience's advantage and sang several songs that were requested on his Twitter page. It was really the futuristic way for an artist to connect with their fans.
Despite how he has been portrayed in the media, pre and post sexual-napalm comment about Jessica Simpson, I had a great time sitting in my seat and enjoying his incredibly textured voice. The guy may have been an attention whore in the media with his inappropriate comments and sly remarks, but he's clearly trying to reinvent himself by dodging TMZ cameras and other news outlets. He's really made a subtle comeback and his talent is really all we need to focus on as fans.
